There are so many accounts of hauntings that it is almost certain that ghosts are real, if you simply apply bayesian logic to the problem.
If you're rational and you believe in empirical evidence, then ghosts and by extension, the afterlife, are real. Therefore, the atheist worldview is false. Atheism is simply an ontology that certain personalities like because they are epistemologically anal retentive science worshipers and religion and the supernatural adds too much 'messiness' and uncertainty to their account of reality.
