i remember one time, that when i was out with my dad, and we were driving home from school, we got lost. he had never driven me before and my black mom was busy; we were in the middle of the country and we pull up to this random farmer woman and ask for directions, and afterwards he goes on a tangent to me about how easy it is to work with other people when you are not with a black. I had never seen something be done so easily; Because whenever my mom was around everything took a while when it involved interacting with other people. I am very glad I do not look black, because then I could never ask for directions. Being white is very nice.
