Also the (eat more-eat less) is not so simple, depends on what you eat. Veggies per instance are pretty good for electrolytes and vitamins, but do fuck all for calorie intake, doesn't matter if you eat a whole tub of them.

Per instance, eating more saturated fats can favor ketosis, which is the most efficient energetic process in our body, which literally improves heart function and brain function, and you can also eat less calories because your body is more efficient at using those calories.

Getting info on diet is a total waste of time.
You -can- live off veganism and still be healthy. But it can be expensive, requires a lot of effort and learning, and will alter your behavior. Still, Indians manage to do it cheap.

If you're going to eat meat, source from local hunters or hunt yourself.
You really have to experiment with your own body and pretty much just feel it out from there.
Always healthy to rotatate.
Highly recommend fermentation.

you dont necessarily need keto all year around, its more important to read up on gut biome and its direct link to mental health. Key is to get healthy physically AND mentally.

You've got blind spots, then:
1) Kinesiology. How your body is moving, your posture, your spinal alignment, etc. This is a major factor in "health".
2) Nutrition isn't just about "positive inputs" (i.e. taking in the right stuff). It's also about avoiding and removing "negative inputs" that you may or may not be aware of (i.e. glyphosate in peanut butter which you might consume on a keto diet, antibiotics injected into chickens)
3) Microbiome. The proper bacteria balance.

There's more to health and longevity than JUST nutrition, and nutrition only plays a partial role in health/longevity.

You may score an A+ in every other area and just be focused on nutrition is what I'm gathering?

As for good nutrition info, I'd look at nutritionfacts on youtube. You can ignore his plant-based stuff, his material on fasting and other things are more than sufficient. All backed up by good data. You just have to pick what you want in this life, if you went plant-based you could probably live a healthy docile life and reduce your risk of cancer, at the risk of micromanaging your diet.

If, for example, you are wanting to reduce sources of estrogen in your diet, you have to look for sources where estrogen hurts people "they" care about: women with breast cancer. So look at diets suggested to them.

Let's break this down even further:
1) You can sweat/breathe/pee ketones, so there's a mechanism built in to enhance ketone-based weight loss.
2) When glucose enters your blood stream, your body has to deal with it or you will literally die. So a) snip it up and store it as fat, b) burn it via muscles. Those are the only choices.

On top of that, ketones do not produce byproducts like glycation AND they have a better ROI. Which means more efficient, yes.

The biochemistry favors ketones.

Carbs are better in niche cases, such as needing glucose in the muscles for athletic activity (such as MMA fighting, etc.)
