It's 1998 on a Saturday morning in July. You just watched two episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series on Fox Kids Network. The sun is shining through the windows. It's a beautiful day, and everything is absolutely perfect. No internet. No social media. No foreign wars. No worries. No cares.
You finish your bowl of French Toast Crunch, grab your bike from the garage, and ride out into the neighborhood to see what the other kids are doing. The lawns look lush and green. The sky is a gorgeous shade of blue. The wind blows through your hair as you ride down the street. You're young. You're free.
