I'm seriously considering joining the Krishnas, I already don't drink, don't gamble, I've been celibate as a test of mastering myself (incel lul) and I think I can give up red meat.
Basically I need a place to stay and I have no family or other help, and who knows maybe I'll actually like it there, maybe I'll find god or Krishna or whatever, or maybe it will be a waste of time.
Anyways it would be horribly irresponsible of me to not first ask my frens here about it first. I know every religion is basically a cult but there's like "we do yoga" cult levels all the way to "drink the koolaid" levels, any idea where this shit falls on the spectrum?
Also is it hard to join? Or can I just show up, I'm pretty hippy looking, I'm Native so I'm somewhat dark skinned and I can totally put on some spiritual yogi bullshit airs if I need to.
Hardest thing I can see is chanting Hare Krshna for literal fucking hours.
