They come from a prudish and puritan culture so they feel the need to virtue signal how much against sex and anything nice in life they are. But the truth is they themselves are the ultimate degenerates, that's why everything is assumed by them to be sexual.

Basically, the american fears everything that is good and according to nature. That's why they cripple their newborn babies and ardently follow (or pretend to for virtue signal points) a religion that tells them you are evil from birth and you should feel forever guilty.
