Dunno bro it depends were the fight takes place. I mean, do they fight on the land? The Balor probably has the upper hand, but if they fight in the middle of the see I don't see how they fuck is he going to win.

Just based on pathfinder Balors and Kraken it's no wonder the Kraken wins. In pathfinder it has 2 arm attacks, 8 tentacle attacks and bite attack. That's 11 attacks per round! The base modifiers to hit isn't very different either.
More attacks per turn means more chances for crits and high dmg. Every Rogue worth their salt in a fight has two-weapon fighting to get multiple attacks per round to stack with sneak attack.
You bring up spells but the best spells have really low save DC's that pretty much make the save 50/50 hinging on dice for the Kraken. Fortitude spells would have the hardest time as the Kraken has a naturally high fortitude.
The Balor gets what like 4 attacks per round? That's some pussy shit. Come back when you get that into the double digits.
