Not a mod. I like it. We have our fair share of cancer here, but it's nothing compared to /b/ and /pol/. Even though some cancerous faggots from those boards are trickling in, I think many people here are beginning to learn that the best way to deal with them is to ignore them. Sometimes it's best to just not reply. Even if you sage threads like the log of shit guys, just giving them a reaction is what makes them come back.

Are janitors allowed to kill threads just for being cancer or do you get yelled at by the higher ups for doing that with threads that don't actually violate the rules. It used to be that the "no rules" rule applied to mods as well, but it seems that many mods/janitors just let people like "tfw no bf" crap things up.

Damn, that kinda sucks. I figured there was probably some kinda "nerf" on mod powers to prevent people from going too crazy. I just was hoping that there was some way that you could acknowledge certain threads as a persistent, recurring problem and have the ability to deal with them as they came in. I remember when "WHEN I WAS" was around, starting a thread with those three words would result in an auto-ban. They had the same thing in place for "prove me wrong". There are a handful of phrases like that we could use auto-bans for.
