at Walmart, they have the mask rule but nobody cares if you ignore the arrows or put your mask below your nose (some of the workers do it even) or use a bandana or something that obviously won't do anything.

nobody cares if you "forget" to ring up some large food things that don't go in bags, or if you get, say, 10 of the same thing you "forgot" to ring up half of them
worst case scenario is you say

I'm sure it doesn't work on electronics or clothes, but i'm sure for big boxes/bags of food, pet food, paper towels and so on people are doing it all the time. I think that's why Walmart never has random "buy __ get one free" sales like the other grocery stores
