Jews are obsessed with this number, but why? They are also obsessed with the number 6, and 3+3=6

One of the arguments I've read here made to explain why Christianity was allowed by the Jews to exist is that the fudamental root principle of Christianity is compassion and that compassion keeps the goyim docile and less prone to violence and resistance. Which makes sense, but as a raised Christian it's hard to take.
