>>10943711This is only peripherally related to this thread, but recently I learned that viruses can actually alter DNA and insert new genes into their hosts. They can also take DNA from hosts. So if you think about this and extrapolate, it could be possible for viruses to literally transfer genes between species - at least those that can cross the species boundary. This could explain observations about dogs and pigs in particular and their closeness with mankind in certain way.
But my point is, this could also explain the similarities between Jews and rodents. These stereotypical Jewish behaviors - and particularly the hand-rubbing - are very rodent-like. And they've lived side-by-side with rodents for longer than we have. Also, mice are close enough to humans to be used as substitutes for us in some experiments. This has always puzzled me.
