>>1096182>Food and drink:- Drink more water
- Drink less soda. Sugarless variants is not a valid alternative.
- Drink less milk, and eat less diary products.
- Eat leafy green vegetables every day, like broccoli, spinach, lettuce etc.
- Eat less sugar. Keep in mind that most processed foods have added sugars
>Face hygiene:- Wash your face with warm water, every morning when you wake up and every evening before you go to bed.
- Never use soap on your face. it dries out the skin, so your sebaceous glands have to compensate, which leads to greasy skin and/or acne.
- If you have dry skin, get a moisturiser. Only use a tiny bit. The best types are cheap and without perfume.
- Avoid touching your face without washing your hands.
- Never pick on acne or pop zits.
- Change your pillow case often.
Don't expect rapid change. Chemicals aren't necessary if you give it time.
>Shaving:- Don't use an electric shaver.
- Change your razors often
- Use shaving cream/foam
- Shave with the grain (the direction your hair is growing, mostly downwards)
- Use many small strokes
- Rinse your razor often
- If you want a closer shave, shave against the grain afterwards
- Wash your face after shaving. Again, water only.
>Lifestyle:- Get some more sun. This is super important, especially for you OP. You look awfully pale, no offence. Lack of vitamin D can lead to brain fog and depression.
- Exercise daily
- Body weight exercises are simple, takes very little space and requires no equipment. There's no excuse, really.
- Jogging/running will increase your blood flow and your oxygen uptake. Great for both your skin and for your brain.
- Once daily exercise is a habit, find a gym and start lifting. Don't be afraid of asking someone to show you how to do something.
If you do this I guarantee you your acne will go away. And I'm pretty sure it will do wonders for your depression as well. Godspeed OP.
