Japan is pretty right wing when you think about it. Their anime are nationalistic. Nippon Kaigi is Japan's largest ultra conservative group and is influential in legislation and executive branches of the Japanese government with members over 38,000. Zaitokukai is Japan's largest hate group with members also in the thousands. Uyoku Dantai is Japan's largest far right ultra nationalist group. If it wasn't for the right, we wouldn't have anime.
