With universal sufferage, all sorts of niggers and thots got to vote. They didn't pay taxes, so of course they voted for drastic increases in taxation, and for the proceeds to go to them. Now the people paying taxes do not control how much they pay or what it is used for. The people who do NOT pay net taxes decide how it is spent (always on themselves) and how much is paid (always more because they're not the ones paying)
Universal sufferage meant giving the unproductive the right to grant themselves access to other peoples money, at which point it became theft, and the government is all too happy to support this, since they get to take a cut for themselves.
