Bartender here
I see so much degeneracy you couldn't even imagine. I've worked in old pubs, they're the best just older broken souls lamenting their losses, wife left, kids gay, in debt with rent and child support. They're quiet but the victims of the world.
The gay nightclub was the worst though, I spent 2 years working their after moving to the city. Damn near broke my heart I won't recollect too much here but yeah it's bad, drag Queens doing Coke and getting a blowie in the changing room which is also where the ice machine is. Gay men flirting with me, lesbians trying to fight me and straight tourists getting conned into a swinger party.
I've worked in posh hotels where people of worth think nothing of what they say around the bartender, learned a lot about local politics games.
Now I work in a middle class suburban bar restaurant it's OK, surrounded by normies, the odd screeching activist, entitled women and NPC's I just smile and serve as always.
I'm inheriting a farm when my grandad dies, so I'm set anyway, just saving money.
Alcohol is degenerate, but the society that idolizes it is worse
