>>11008619>>11008631>>11008624There is no evidence of Asherah having a penis in previous or contemporary Mesopotamian history. If anything, Asherah, also called Ishtar or Inanna was femininity in its divine form. The worst you could say about her is that she was a brutal and merciless wife to whatever local god she was paired with.
The hebrew peoples were divided into pagans and centrists. The centrist faction wanted to centralise worship under the control of the priestly class sanctioned by the prophets. The pagans, as the word pagus would suggest, were mostly peripheral goatherders, country bumpkins, who were cut off from the central authority and were more inclined to neighbouring polytheistic practices.
Sometimes Kings would subvert the priestly class by supporting polytheism. Other times, Kings would benefit from monotheism. The Old Testament gives an account from the perspective of the monotheists, but there is no indication of the Bible supporting them.
Also the Talmud is non-canonical in the Christian context so I literally dont give a fuck.
>>11008629St. Thomas provided an intellectual basis for the centralisation of Catholic authority. Don't hate, if you don't like it, read some mysticism and be weird oh so deep elsewhere.
>>11008627Many KKK were CIA operatives. Doesn't mean Nathan Bedford Forrest was a glownigger. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are trolling and not a complete moron.

Also before anyone calls me a Christian, I actually pray to Inanna, the Queen of Heaven, with the appearance of Venus as the light bringer. I am more pagan than anyone here and even I have great respect for Christians.
