Meds just have the potential to change things negatively in many ways. I don't want to take pills everyday to function okeish. I want my brain to release enough brainchemicals on its own. I was warded because they thoughr I was schizo and close to hurting other people (they thought I was schizo bc normally psychosis won't go away, my did though). After a time in psych ward they told me my brain is broken because the stress I had to live through was insane

I had mild psychosis too when i was younger but i think it went away as well.

How long were you psychotic and how did it feel? I was 4 years psychotic and it was basically schizophrenia. That's probably the reason why I attract schizos eeeh. I told psychs I feel nothing but they can't do anything but give me meds. Therapy was useless because I figured all their coping techniques out on my own after so many years of abuse

well I was acting very anti social and well weird for a person my age. I was told to go to the counselor and she straight up told my parents that i should be warded. Though i got a way with a bunch a therapy sessions and meds in the end.

Are you sure it was psychosis? Psychosis is very rare and the chances for it to fully go away is almost non existent so psychs will always assume you are schizo until proven otherwise. No one in psych ward knew these coping techniques so saying it's funny is retarded

Yes, they did a mri to see if I have brain damage (tfw I was only person in ward who got head mri at the time). Result was my brainu isn't physically damaged

If that's true then you are schizo and will stay schizo for life. Brain damage in certain regions can indicate it. Like I said my brain is physically healthy so there can't be diagnosed anything through the mri

Maybe you misunderstood something. Or maybe they were trash psychiatrists who gave you wrong diagnosis based on brain damage. Schizos write and act differently than you (I have a lot of experience with them)

It can produce it but it doesn't release the right amount. It's caused by stress

When my psychosis started it instantly put me at a point where I couldn't live "normally" anymore. It completely messed me up. And that was just the start... My depwession now isn't that bad compared to when I was psychotic. I think either you misunderstood something or the psychs misinterpreted your brain damage. Btw many people in psych ward told me they were psychotic in the past too but it actually wasn't true

I never bothered to look at the diagnoses myself, i just wanted to be left alone. I'll try to look around, maybe i'll find some documents regarding this stuff. If i do, i'll tell you about it later.

Ya it could actually help you to know the diagnosis. I hope for you that you aren't psychotic, it would mean a life in total misery without any hope of getting better. Just these 4 years of being psychotic damaged me so much mentally

I put myself in a delusional bubble so I don't feel like trash. I notice that I should feel a happi feeling but it's just not there. I just feel nothing.
