sometimes Ukrainians or people from various churkastans cry about how Soviets stole recourses and shit from their countries but in your case there wasn't anything to steal even hypothetically. like I have already said, your country was a backwards agrarian state ruled by a populist leader, just like the most of the EE at the time. industrialisation, urbanisation, free healthcare and education etc. - all of that was provided to you by Soviets in exchange for your sovereignty and mostly paid off by RSFSR aka main donative republic. your economy is shit right now because it collapsed alongside economy of the USSR itself, and new people in power, just like in all ex-USSR countries, were just nouveauriches who couldn't care less about the country and its people.
