I would have been glad if they had cut the damn thing off right from the start. I didn't have a full phimosis but I recognized that it was impossible to pull my foreskin back as soon as I got a boner (which isn't rare, but nobody knows until they're able to get an erection) and I didn't know at that time, how big of a problem that was (Porn and Internet weren't that easily available for kids back then) and I was too embarrassed to ask.
I just was convinced that it wouldn't be possible to have sex like that. And then I had to deal with all that shit as a teenager and having my dick mutilated ( at least it looks and feels like it) kind of messed with my head.
I would do it. Saves potential trouble, is cleaner, looks better and some say they last longer in bed because they got rid of the extra skin.
And I don't really get why people worry about limb dick in 2017.
