My brother, my sisters, I haven’t read most of these posts but I did read enough to find the overall theme of the thread. I want to tell you firsthand, that no matter who you are are what you’ve done, Jesus can save you. Jesus has already done the work for us, he’s already died on the cross, so he has already done what is necessary to save you. All you have to do is have faith, and read that carefully, faith, that Jesus saved you if you ask him to save you. That’s all it takes. It is a free gift, as others have mentioned, nothing you can do can ever deserve that gift, ever. Turn your life over to Jesus, turn away from your sins, pick up your cross and follow Jesus and the commandments of the Father. You are not perfect, you will sin, know that even though you still sin occasionally, you are still God’s chosen child. As long as you repent, which means to turn away, and be born again(turn away from sin) and accept God’s FREE gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, you ARE saved, not you might be saved, you ARE saved, so believe this, through faith, and accept the gift. Understand that Jesus paid your sin debt by dying on the cross for YOU, this is how you enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, eternal salvation, through the righteousness of Jesus, not of your own righteousness, because we are all terrible sinners and fall short of that glory.
