Long Answer:
The Germans honestly could not have won in most circumstances, imagine it like the Avenger Infinity War meme about how they examined all realities where they lose and find just one which is a victory. It's sorta like that. Hitler shifted his focus to the Caucases rightfully so because Germany was running out of oil since early 1941 so if they could get their hands on the Russian oil it would help but they underestimated the Soviet Union big time and never even got there.
The oil shortages are shown brilliantly in the fact that the German invasion of the Soviet Union consisted mostly of infantry troops and the Panzer and Motorized troops had been decreased in numbers before the invasion to save oil.
Germans reached the doorstep of Moscow and even if Moscow fell the Germans would be in no real better position. The City would become rubble like Stalingrad in the fighting before the fall and the only main achievement would be capturing the central railway hub. Soviets would never surrender after Moscow though and Stalin knew that even if Moscow fell, that was as far as Germany could realistically get. German industry was struggling to replace their losses on the front in terms of heaby equipment as in tank parts and even skilled people. Russians threw some lightly trained dudes into a crude steel box built up in 4 hours (T-34) while the Germans had this finely crafted perfected tank with Veteran crew that was completely wasted when they roll over a mine. See the problem here? It's hard to replace skilled soldiers who die and skilled factory workers who get sent to the front to replace them.
