>>11100424Psychedelics will challenge your impulse for degeneracy and tend to orient you toward living a better life. Those that overlook this impulse are just childishly clinging onto their little comfort blankets and are in fact rejecting the invitation from God to grow and actualize into high functioning people.
Common themes from psychedelics experiences: Universal Love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, letting go of the past, deeper insight into human nature, valuing levity and a positive mindset, spirituality, introspection, valuing life and the gift of this earth, strength in the face of adversity, fun, health, acceptance of the design of life, growth, awareness of one's impact on the world around them, self acceptance, humility in the face of the grand cosmic scale, connection, etc...
Generally these are:
1-- Good ways of being for society. Ie, if everybody acted this way, it would be a better society
2-- Aligned with Christian Values
So what exactly is the problem? As with anything that is verboten and forced to exist in the underground, you get all kinds of deviants and rebels playing with it and coming up short in terms of positive results. But correlation does not equal causation. Those deviants would likely be deviant no matter what 'lane' of life they're in. It's not the psychedelics. It's the broader issue of poor mental health in our society. I'd argue (again) that the psychedelics are an attempt to rectify those mental health issues, and for some they help. For others, psychedelics can make the problem worse. But then again, so can alcohol, weed, and pills.
