But the thing is even if they had such diabolical plans, they would easily be able to achieve them anyway.
You can literally just take a hair off a person in the subway and boom you got their DNA. Or pick up a cigarette butt off the floor and their saliva residue also contains their DNA.
At the end of the day, people are just trying to make money doing anything they can, and maybe the service is just for profit and there's no evil ulterior motive.
If you have enough grandparents that can accurately trace their exact lineage then you should just ask them that instead.
