To my knowledge, there wasn't much in the way of immigrants to Ireland prior to the late 20th century. Most all of the Celtic people I know have brown eyes but from such a seemingly isolated I don't understand how brown eyes entered the gene pool of a typical light eye coloured people?
So is there some history I am missing or am I making the jannies mad?
