LGBT is a culture on its own. The pride parades are but one part of their manifestation. Plenty of subcultures have always operated in the shadows. Modern pride parades are displays of power, like when the Germans took Paris and they marched through the French Arch of Triumph. Yet, pride parades don't tend to march through Swedish Muslim towns, do they?
Gays don't just want acceptance. They want everyone to stand and fucking clap for them. They don't want integration. They want to take your kids and teach them, in your absence, why Billy kissing Bobby is OK well before kids can even have erections. Why do they need to do this if there's no big deal? Because they need to get the kids involved for the next generation.
