Budgets have run dry.
Shows 10, 20 or 30 years ago ran on a decent budget to get something done. However, kids don't watch TV anymore and are instead busy on their tablets and game consoles or whatever. So that means less ad income, meaning less money made, meaning lower budgets.
Budgets are now so low that proper writers can't be bothered with them, so now 3rd rate gender studies degree faggots use them. Besides, the toy sector (where many of the animations come from, cuz exposure = more sales = money in the minds of the ridiculous boomers)... well, the toy sector is filled with dinosaurs who aren't adapting to modern practical circumstances (only feeding into progressivism since they think that's what the audience wants), so that ain't helping either.
