It's been almost two years now I think? She was my best friend in the entire world. I knew her as well as her own family did.
Remind yourself that it's been three years. Even if it's been shit, you've carried on, and you can continue to do so. Even if it takes a much longer time, even if the scar is there forever, you should be able to get back to normal. And remind yourself that you can be loved, if she did for you at some point. If this is the case, then you can be loved again by someone else. It's proof that it's possible.
