Tiny welded surface areas at the absolute worst angle for any sort of lateral loads, like say a moving car over an uneven surface is being subjected to in several different directions at once for 100% of its travel.

And that's without getting into the fact that there is obviously no place to mount an engine and a transmission to drive the car for the 30 feet it would travel before its frame broke in 15 different places.
