I keep the record of what they did and if they show unrepentive unrehabilitated tendency to wrong me again it stands to reason they are not to be trusted- abd thus- instead of a grudge I take precautions for that person not to cross my path afterwards

If someone acts malicious towards me or reveals themselves to be a type of person I don't want to be associated with or deal with on a regular I cut ties. If someone breaks my trust I don't rely on their word.
