>>1123804Right. If anything, the world is heading for the better. People focus on the small things; terrorist attacks, petty political catfights; they aren't seeing the big picture. These times we are living in are some of the best, and they'll only get better. It's not in our nature, as mankind, to stay stationary. We are known to push the limits, to never let anything get in the way of our progression to a greater future.
I hope this is something that generational pessimists understand. Just because ISIS is going around blowing shit up, doesn't mean we're all going to go to nuclear war and kill ourselves. Things happen all the time; Hiroshima, Pearl Harbor, MKULTRA, the Holocaust.
Who knows what the future will be like? What we do know is that we will continue to progress, despite the odds. Mankind has been roaming the earth for millions of years. We sure as shit won't let some explosive wipe us all out. It just wouldn't happen. We as a species know better.
