>>11222108Well, there's a reason for it. You're the most powerful country in the world, politically, economically and "culturally". Everything you do impacts the rest of the world in one way or the other.
Note that I put "culturally" in quotation marks, because what you stand for when it comes to culture is utter shit. It's all bright lights and beautiful façades. You're like a Potemkin village, but an entire country.
That said, you make good movies, even though most of them are made by foreigners. But there's something in the way you tell stories that appeals to us non-americans. And of course you do, because all you do is telling stories. "I'm the assistant supervising assistant to the assistant manager of this McDonald's restaurant". You love labels and made up stories about you, your life and your heritage.
I hate swedish movies and tv, because swedish movie makers and show runners don't know how to tell stories. And all, and I sincerely mean all our actors are shit. But you have all that, and that's something, I guess.
