>>11223091There's many different kinds of mechanical keys. Red cherry mx keys are light, smooth presses with no extra bump or clickiness. Blacks are the same, but require more force to press. Try these out if you don't want noise. I think they're as quiet as membrane keyboards.
The loudness is only from those stupid keys some fags love that have extra bump or click in the keys to make them extra annoying on purpose. I don't know why anybody buys those.
