The elites of the world for thousands of years, even before Jesus Christ fell for the lie as mentioned above. Then Satan/Lucifer told them more lies, unironically saying he can offer them immortality and bring them to their own self-made Gods with materials of this world(as long if Satan can be no.1 and get rid of God and Jesus Christ).
They want to overthrow God's and Jesus Christ's authority. This is why they don't want people knowing Jesus Christ. They know they are already sentenced to damnation and the second death, so now they are doing everything in their power to attempt to avoid death / overthrow God by replacing it with Satan/Lucifer ideals that are now pushed onto society such as lgbt and transgenderism(both insults God).
The end goal for the elites is to milk us, use us, and kill us spiritually so they can create their own man-made utopia / salvation that doesn't have God or Jesus Christ in it.
Basically its either going to heavy genetic modification with animal dna and other things, maybe even fallen angels, and/or merging man with machine with cyborgs. This is essentially going to be the mark of the beast, and its going to be pushed as a good thing for us to expand our life spans and "make life easier'
Any sort of genetic modification of yourself or serious merging with machines in your body will seal your fate. We are perfect creations of God, and Satan wants to steal us away from God by us modifying our bodies with computers and genetics heavily so Satan can own us instead, and once again insult or overthrow God
