>>11308956Gender Dysphoria isn't a confusion or a question. It's a fact.
Gender dysphoria (GD) is the distress a person feels due to a mismatch between their gender identity and their sex assigned at birth. People with gender dysphoria are typically transgender.
Why does there need to be more definitions? Someone with gender dysphoria, who goes through the proper means and methods, medication, etc. Is a female (or male if FtM) Someone who doesn't, is their assigned at birth sex.
The issue you're bringing to the table is that, I assume you think that I believe people should just be able to say they're X and then they're X without any effort, work, or medication put into it. I kind of disagree, and they give transgender people a worse look over all. You can have gender dysphoria, and put 0 work in, be an ugly neckbeard without taking estrogen and I will not say you are female.
If you are on Estrogen, and have the proper bloodwork and levels and psychiactrics etc, then sure, you're whatever you are working towards, female, male etc.
Basically, if someone has changed their entire life to be something, and they look/sound/act like that gender, then just treat them and respect them as that gender.
If they have not, and have not gone through the steps, then even if it makes them sad, we should treat them as their biological sex until they do.
Let me know if you think otherwise.
