Usually, the people in the next room start banging on the wall as soon as I wake up. Today, their banging woke me. I called the desk to complain, and then I went down there immediately to ask why they would put the only other long term guest in this hotel in the room right next to mine. The first person I spoke to said he called them and they didn't tell him anything. I said to him, "Why would they tell you anything? I asked you to tell them to stop banging on my wall." He said, "They said there weren't doing it." I asked for another room, and he started smirking at me

and then some other woman came and started helping me and they each stopped talking to me to answer the phone about five times very rudely. The second person said, "Do you still want to move? They just checked out." I said, "There's no way they just checked out, they were banging on my wall, then I called you and came directly down here. I would have seen them in the hall." Then I started confronting them about their obvious lying. They kept demurring "not understanding" that I had a new complaint about catching them in a lie: the first guy saying he had spoke to them and then the second woman saying they just checked out in the 5 seconds between when I called the desk and went down there. After they changed the subject about the lie five times, the manager, Robert a/k/a Tim from Exide came out. He gave me a third version: he said the room was vacant. I said, "The room isn't vacant. First Guy literally just told me that he spoke to them." Then, First Guy who was smirking at me about it the whole time, told another lie. He told Tim that he didn't speak to anyone when he called, which is bullshit anyways because he wouldn't even have called the room if it was vacant. He told the manger that he called and no one answered after he told me that they told him they weren't banging.
