Maybe something just misterious, like people that had close to death experience but they are ok, or the classic "i think i saw an ufo" thats not that scary as ghosts.

i one saw a very big roach like the size of a nephew and lots of people also saw it but then after few years when i asked them "hey remember that big roach?" everyone said that they don't remember such a thing

nearby the stairs of the 2nd floor, we closed the way there with a sofa so i stood up on the sofa to see it, i think the size was hmm like 7 inches? idk it's been years
