thing is, when a government agency or police force prosecutes a white man for flailing his gun around dangerously in public, the NRA and the republicans lose their shit and rant about it for years. However, when a black man tells a police officer who pulled him over that his legally-purchased gun is in the glovebox next to his driver's license and notify him he's only going to pull out the latter, and gets shot 4-7 times for it, literally no one in the NRA will say anything about it and the manslaughtering police officer gets declared as not-guilty.
I really like America, but good god, there are times when it's a huge fucking joke.
