It is possible that there is a god out there who watches us and judges our every action. He doesn't particularly give a shit if we murder eachother or fuck boypussies or basically do whatever we want. But he hates it when people pretend like they know him. He despises all religions, taking serious issue with their arrogant pretense of divine knowledge. When we die, he makes his final judgement of every soul. If you were religious in life, you are sentenced to an eternity of being raped up the ass by demons with very large and unusually shaped penises. If you didn't pretend like you knew all the answers though, you get to smoke bongs and play video games with god forever.
With this in mind, why would you take the risk of believing in god? Why would you take the risk of being religious?
