They have a pretty large team of devs and the mod is in active development to this day
Not sure why but they wanted to add some apefrica continent which may have been slowing development, but from what I heard from devs every dev works one whatever he wants, so that's probably why pony apefrica is 10% finished after 10 years
There use to be a lot of nazi stuff in it, with a happy merchant meme that was sadly removed, still a few black Suns and swastikas are still in the game, even for good guy nations
But yeah, basically every single country (there are many) has at least 3 fully custom focus trees and events, AND, any nation of the griffon can reunify the empire, and get another custom tree once they have reformed it
The level of depth is insane, there is a nation that has like 10 focus trees, they added a huge nation that is basically a hidden one, they added fucking banking and loans, new resources and equipment, every race has a race specific tech tree added, the mod is bonkers and i had so much fun playing it that it feels like my civic duty to tell others to play it too
