it should be soon, what with all the hispanics you're taking in. isn't california mostly hispanic anyway? but i doubt the giant corporations who run the state would want more regulations and to give more rights to workers so they can just pay off a few politicians and that's that.
but to be fair "siesta" time isn't a thing in law here, like it is in spain where workers actually get an extra hour or so in the afternoons so they can take a short powernap. it's just assumed that people in domiciles would want to take a nap around that time so loud noises aren't allowed.
