if you weren't a hardcore weeb, what country would you have obsessed over and learned about?

for me, I like Turkey. I collected a bunch of turkish stuff, the food is good and ataturk wasn't a dickhead to australians about ww1 and honoured them historically so that's not so bad.

I got some really cool lamps and a rug for cheap off a jewish guy (well he made it sound like a good deal fkn jews), their coffee and apple tea is great and just the general asthetic of their stuff is nice. Their language is not so bad. They hate gays but that's probably okay if you're stealthy about it. Seems like a nice place. Could be wrong. Larping as a muslim doesn't seem hard either.
