all old mazdas rust like crazy, they only have gotten better in the last decade. also rotaries are extremely unreliable, guzzle oil and your local mechanic probably doesn't know how to repair them.

it's pozzed at the basic design level, one side is cold (entrance) while the other is hot (exit) and thus requires plenty of lubrication and constant apex seal changes that require one to dismantle the engine. at least ls swap it or something lmao
