This film was not nearly as good, and you could tell that almost everyone they "pranked" at best knew they were on some weird tv show and not to act too badly, and at worst were literally behaving like paid actors and it was obvious. Not really Cohen's fault because Borat was 2006 before the world was bombarded with prank youtube channels and other media bullshit that is now common knowledge even to boomers.
The scene with Rudy was cringe. He didn't do anything wrong but he's definitely a gross and racist pervert and there's no denying that. He was completely open to the girl's advancements, which is fine, but he claimed that he was not. He obviously was.
It was a little overtly left leaning and the whole "go vote" shit at the end was dumb and over the top, but it was still kind of funny and I laughed out loud a few times.
