In any event, these anti-viral vaccines all have a benign safety profile because they aim to attack a virus.
As to efficiency, this is where it gets real tricky. Some analysts estimate a 70% to 95% efficacy rate (e.g. 30 confirmed cases in the placebo group and just 2 cases in the vaccine group), others are not so sure. Pfizer just yesterday said the independent committee did not report a definite interim readout yet, even though based on the general population they should have one - likely the problem is that people who volunteered for corona, are generally very disciplined people who don’t get infected because of mask wearing. Instead of doctors, professors and high IQ students, we should have recruited unemployed bums, Tinder champion girls, bimbos, uni kids from bad colleges and corona-deniers for the clinical trials.
