Don't go to work for any companies that are in a liberal city/state that are pure tech companies. I found a home at a blue-collar mid-size business as a sr. sys admin and I love it. Normal work hours and people are chill af. It's also nice being the smartest tech fucker in the whole company of 1000+ people.

That more conservative-minded people run the largest businesses in the world on average, as they're more predisposed to keeping a company strong, focused, and making incremental improvements.
