Question for American military personnel. As an officer on deployment to a non combat zone like Japan or Germany do you get time to do "sight seeing" or recreational activities like hiking Mount Fuji or some shit. From what I read enlisted basically get no time to do shit, but I didn't read anything about officers. And if you are allowed to do personal shit what kind of stuff have you've done when deployed?
