lots to digest there.
On a very strange note, one name in this immediately caught my eye...Harkness.
>"..."Yes, it is a fact: the Mellons, Carnegies,Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Dukes, Astors, Dorrances, Reynoldses, Stilimans, Bakers, Pynes, Cuilmans,
Watsons, Tukes, Kleinworts, DuPonts, Warburgs, Phippses, Graces, Guggenheims, Milners, Drexels,
Winthrops, Vanderbilts, Whitneys, Harknesses and other super rich Illuminated families..."

It reminded me of Captain Jack Harkness, of TORCHWOOD fame, who returns from the 51st Century to fight & eradicate the evil forces threatening Earth. Yes, Harkness was the alias he adopted, but, the name DID help him when fighting The Three Families.
>I know this is an off-the-wall insertion here, and while I apologize for perhaps derailing this conversation on the 13 families, I can't help but wonder if the writer's choice of names had some underlying reasoning for that particular choice.Captain Jack remains one of my all-time fictional heroes, despite his bi-proclivities.
