Was Christianity created to control the population? Is Jesus Christ still a valid Messiah if his teachings are separated from the Church, or is he an AntiChrist meant to deceive us all?

Religions and ideologies are made for this purpose. Is that some sort of evil master plan? No, it's because control people is a necessity for every functioning society. Even in west with all this rampant atheism people are controlled, maybe more than ever.
Religion is how humans cope with the lack of fundamental question about the existence, it's normal and there is nothing wrong with that, it's a necessity and a basic need. Today most of the people thinks to be more "rational" than the past without a religion but they have just replaced it with something else. They don't realize it but it's what it is.

God is real. God came to us at nearly the exact moment written language was developed.
That was part of the plan.

Humans have divided God's message to fit their own narrative and lifestyle.
This is where things get complicated.
Nobody has a perfect bible, word for word, what God's message to us was.
Everything has a little or a lot of corruption and misinterpretation.

You have to find the core beliefs to be a follower of God.
