>>11583686its not necessary. Different regions in japan have different dialects. Different dialects have different pitches on different syllables. Learning the correct pitch can be useful in rare situations because there are words that have the same syllables but differ in pitch. However these are so rare that you shouldn't worry about it. Learning the words in the first place is more important. (At least that's what my teacher used to tell me)
