This is a valid point, because of 'shared' governance there is double the bureaucracy to fight against. Heck our police got into trouble with the EU commission because they dared to raid the offices of our central bank in an investigation (they lied to us how bad our banks were, so we had to borrow a lot more money then needed, and they messed up many other things as well...), with proper warrants and all!
If the ecb fails our politicians will go on a looting spree for anything and everything they can get their hands on, it'll be the same as when we became independent and there was denationalization of former Yugoslav property, those in the know got so much money out of it it's insane.
